Connect YogiFi Mat to Wi-Fi

  • Mat Settings Screen pulls up the available networks.
  • Give it 15-30s to load and refresh the screen.
  • Select your WiFi from the list and enter password.
  • Verify that the signal strength is consistent and strong before proceeding with the update.

  • If the Home WiFI doesn’t load, enter the WiFi SSID/Name and password manually.
  • The SSID is case-sensitive. Ensure that the SSID matches exactly.
  • Provide the password and connect.

  • If the Home WiFI doesn’t load, enter the WiFi SSID/Name and password manually.
  • The SSID is case-sensitive. Ensure that the SSID matches exactly.
  • Provide the password and connect.

Android device
  • iPhone has a different mechanism of identifying available networks, so, let’s check out with an Android phone or tablet.
  • Install the YogiFi App and navigate to Mat Settings to check if your
  • Home WiFi shows up on the list of available networks.
  • This is needed only for the first Mat update and you can back to your iPhone for practice.

Create a personal hotspot with pre-defined Network name and password

  • Create a hotspot on a second device with the below credentials:
    Network Name: Wellnesys_device       Password: Yogifi#2020
    Once the Personal Hotspot is created, restart the mat. Go to Mat Settings and check the Connection status. If it hasn’t changed to connected automatically, enter it manually.
    The Hotspot can be created in any of the following ways:
    • Mobile Hotspot on Windows Laptop
      • Go To Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot
      • Provide the Network name and password 
      • Restart the mat and wait for the mat shows up on the list of connected devices.
    • A wireless router that acts as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot
      • Add a guest network with the above Network name and password.
    • A second iPhone device with cellular service:
      • From the Home screen, tap Settings > General > About. Tap Name and update it to the Network Name above.
      • Go to Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot -> Provide the above password as Wi-Fi Password
      • Turn off Bluetooth on this device
    • A second Android device with cellular service
      • Open the Settings app from your menu.
      • Open the Wireless & Networks/Connectivity option.
      • Find the Tethering & Hotspot option and click Wi-Fi hotspot.
      • Among other hotspot settings, you’ll see Hotspot name. Tap to open.
      • Erase the current name and add the above network name and password.
      • Tap on Save at the bottom of the screen.
      • Turn off Bluetooth on this device
    • WiFi Hotspot on Mac
      • Connect your Mac to the Internet through an Ethernet adapter. 
      • You’d select Ethernet in the list at the top of the window and share that wired connection over Wi-Fi.
      • Select the “Internet Sharing” option in the list. 
      • In the “To computers using” box, enable the Wi-Fi option. This will create a Wi-Fi hotspot, and the Internet connection you selected at the top of the window will be shared with devices that connect to the Wi-Fi network.
      • Click the “Wi-Fi Options” button at the bottom of the window to configure your Wi-Fi hotspot with the above network name and the password.
